Messages for offer-holders

Hi all!

First of all - congratulations on getting an offer! Sorry it's been a bit quiet on here - Carrie and I have been visiting schools around the country so have not been in the offic muych over the past couple of months. Below are a few updates worth noting.

FINANCE: If you are an Overseas student and you have applied to the Cambridge Overseas Trusts then we are extended the deadline for your Financial Guarantee until 31st May (by which time you will know if the Trusts have offered you any funding). If you are a Home student, the deadline for your Financial Guarantee is still 4th May - remember to include evidence that you have applied to the Student Loans Company when you send this in.

VISA: If you will need a visa to study in Cambridge, you must send us an email to let us know by tomorrow (if you haven't done so already).

CERTIFICATES: In your offer-letter you were asked to provide us with certificates of your academic achievements to date. This seems to have caused some confusion so we are clarifiying it here. If you have a Conditional Offer, please send us copies of your GCSE certificates (or equivalent). If you have an Unconditional Offer, please send (by recorded delivery) your original A level certificates (or equivalent) - we will return these to you once we have checked them. Anyone who comes up to study in October will need to bring with them their original A level certificates, which will be checked by the Tutorial Office.
