Welcome to Peterhouse’s Admissions Blog! If this is your first time visiting this page, scroll down to see our initial welcome post which includes lots of subject information, as well as a proper introduction from us.

Otherwise, this blog post lays out a few deadlines that have already passed, and a few that are creeping up fast, so go and get your diary before reading on! Not all of these deadlines will apply to all of you, but have a look below to make sure you don’t miss anything important (and remember to click on the links if you need more information).

High School Transcripts – you must submit one of these if you’re at school outside the UK unless you took IGCSEs and are now taking/have just taken the International Baccalaureate (IB) or A Levels (please ensure that you have provided us with your A level module scores if this is the case). If you’re at school outside of the UK then the deadline for this is the 22^nd October, but the sooner you get it to us the sooner we can sort out your interview dates so you can book your flights.

Supplementary Application Questionnaire (aka SAQ; this applies to everyone) – a day or two after your application reaches UCAS, you should receive an automatic email asking you to fill in your SAQ. The deadline for this is Tuesday 22^nd October (i.e. THIS Tuesday) and it can take a while to complete so if you haven’t done so already we really recommend that you get started on this as soon as possible. As with the High School Transcripts, we can’t assess your application without the information provided here. If you have queries that aren’t answered by the website, please send them to saqhelp@admin.cam.ac.uk.

Data Protection Forms/Fee Status Assessments (this applies to everyone) – the day after you submitted your application to UCAS, we sent you a pack in the post including lots of information about what we needed from you next. We also included a pink Data Protection Form and a blue Fee Status Assessment Questionnaire. If you’re having trouble filling in the Fee Status Questionnaire, or your situation is a little unusual, you might find this link helpful. The deadline for these (including a copy of the photo page of your passport to support your Fee Status) is 4^th November.

Written Work – our earlier post on this blog (below) explains which subjects require written work to be submitted. If this applies to you then you should have received a cover sheet in the post from us, and once this is filled in you should attach one to every copy you send us (this does NOT apply to the set essay/project in Economics/Architecture). Please make sure you send the correct number of copies as it creates a huge amount of extra work for us if you don’t. The deadline for submitting Written Work is 15^th November.

Visas – if you have applied from Overseas you might need to get hold of a visitor visa in order to come to your interview - please make sure you apply for the right type of visa, and that you do so in plenty of time for it to get processed (which can take weeks!). You can find lots of advice about it on the International Student Team's website. Interviews will be taking place between 2^nd-19^th Dec and we'll publish rough dates for each subject here as soon as we can, but bear in mind that we don't invite all students for interview, so if you're planning to book flights before you get an interview invitation from us then make sure it is refundable.
