Just one thing - the number one thing you can do to make interviews less stressful for you and for us is to be at the Porters' Lodge on time for EVERY interview you have.
10-15 minutes before EACH of your interviews, let the Porter on duty know you are there so they can tick you off.
Every year we have to go and fetch people from the JCR or phone their mobiles to track them down. Don't let that be you!
If you will be late or feel ill or will somehow be delayed, please let the Porters or myself know. We can cope if we're in the loop. The Porters and all the sheepdogs are used to anxious candidates and will do their best to calm your nerves. I have a supply of tissues in my office (and that's just for the Mums!) and, if you're worried about something, we can probably tell you more so you know what to expect and realise that it's not as bad as it seems!
Most people who got in thought they had lousy interviews. Some shook so badly, they were asked if they had flu! (True story!). Some burst into tears because an interviewer was nice to them and they'd expected a scary person! Some phoned me up to check to see if their decision letter was a hoax. So please, tehre's no need to panic. Hopefully the blog will have helped.
BTW, Cambridge is absolutely freezing right now so wear something warm!

If I have 2 interviews an hour apart and one runs over would that be a problem or is an hour plenty of time to allow a bit of leeway and time to get to the porters office 10-15 minutes before?

It takes about 3 minutes to walk the entire length of Peterhouse and interviews rarely run over by more than 15 minutes so you'll be fine.
Modern Languages is tight but in most other subjects people have a very minimum of half an hour between appointnments.
We'll also be aware of which subjects are runnign late so won't give you grief if you've come straight from another interview :>)
